EUDR GeoCheck validates a plot file against the published EUDR GeoJSON File Description version 1.5 and, on request, repairs the parts that can be repaired deterministically. It returns the errors it finds, a fixed file, and a change log of what it altered.
The validation tool does not collect personal data from your file and does not store the file you paste or upload. Your file, including any coordinates and producer names in it, is processed in memory to produce the result and is not retained or logged, and the part of the page that shows the result is blocked from session replay.
Like any web server, ours receives your IP address and browser details with each request. They are used for rate limiting (the free validator is counted against a salted daily hash of your address, and the free repair allowance against the same kind of hash, not the address itself), for security and to keep the service running. The application itself keeps no access log; our edge server keeps a size-capped access log (IP address, requested address including any query string, time; in practice about a week) for security, and it is not used to profile you.
We measure page views with our own self-hosted analytics. It sets no cookies. It does store a random identifier in your browser's local storage, and it records the pages you view including their query string, the referring page, your screen size, browser language and page title. Session replay is switched on: it records the page as it is displayed to you, with mouse movement, scrolling, clicks and page changes; text you type into a field is masked and the parts of the page that show your results are blocked from the recording entirely; recordings are deleted after 30 days and page-view statistics are kept for 10 years. We also count visits on the server with a daily rotating hash of your address and browser string; the raw address is not stored in the analytics data and the hash cannot be linked across days. We do not use third-party trackers or advertising pixels. The privacy notice has the full detail.
When you request a fixed download, we record the email address you enter, the date, and the name of the file you repaired, so the free repair can be counted per address and so we can contact you about the service. The change log is returned with the fixed file on the page; we do not email it. The address is also recorded in our customer contact system, which is shared across our products so that one unsubscribe or deletion request covers all of them.
We add your address to our product news mailing list only if you tick the box that says so. The box is off by default. When you tick it we store a consent record in our own database (your email address, the time, the form and the checkbox wording) so we can show later that you agreed. Emails are sent through Brevo, our email provider, and every mailing carries an unsubscribe link. If you buy the Fix plan, your key and payment related messages are sent to you by email; those messages are needed to deliver what you bought and are not marketing.
We keep a lead record for 24 months after your last contact with us, applied by a manual review we run at least once a quarter; backups of our databases are kept up to 35 days. You can ask for a copy or the deletion of this data at any time using the contact address below; the privacy notice lists every recipient, retention period and your rights.
The service is provided on a best effort basis. It implements the file rules as published and repairs only what is deterministic and safe. It does not invent missing producer details, plot areas, or projections, and it never claims to guarantee acceptance.
Paid plans are billed through Stripe Managed Payments. For each purchase Link, a Stripe company, acts as merchant of record and handles invoicing, applicable VAT, receipts, refunds and statutory withdrawal rights for customers in the relevant jurisdictions. Your card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our servers.
