The AI Disclosure Widget detects common AI chat and assistant tools on a page where it is installed and displays a disclosure notice indicating that the visitor is interacting with an AI system. It also records, for the site owner, when the notice was shown.
The widget does not set cookies and does not collect personal data from your visitors. It does not read message contents, does not track individuals, and does not store IP addresses or browser fingerprints. The only information recorded is which AI tools were detected on the page and which language the notice was rendered in, together with a server timestamp. This forms the site owner evidence log and contains no personal data.
When you register a site, we store the email address you provide and the domain you enter, so we can issue your site key and contact you about the service. You can request deletion of this data at any time.
The service is provided on a best effort basis. The widget is designed to fail safe: if the configuration cannot be reached, it still shows the default notice, and it never blocks or breaks the page it runs on.
Paid plans are billed through our payment provider, which acts as merchant of record and handles invoicing, applicable VAT, and statutory withdrawal rights for customers in the relevant jurisdictions.
